In Spain, an original song was composed in Spanish to be the opening and ending of the series. Although its quality is minor to the official songs, it accomplishes the objective of transmitting the spirit of the series to the spectators. Its lyrics appear underneath.

Until today we have only found one CD that compiles some of the most important instrumental pieces of the series and various vocal songs. This CD was edited in 1993 by King Records Ltd within Star Child Collection.

There is brilliant air, sun shines hard, a rose petal on my lips. I am going to jump like a tennis ball! Service! Smash! Volley! Do your best! Ace, ace, ace! Aim for the ace! You are alone at the tennis court, nobody understands either my love nor my sorrow or my tears. There is a brilliant cloud, blue sky twisters. a soft flower over the racket. Aim for the ace!	This song appears on “Ace o Nerae!” series. It is a dramatic melody that describes difficult moments that Hiromi must endure to achieve her goals. It accompanies some of the best scenes between Hiromi and Jin. “It was getting dark at the court when I found a miserable red racket. At midnight at the court, I saw a girl crying. Letters written through her tears were H.H. H.....O. A love that burns. A following day that burns at the white tennis court. (Again) Oh! Song that appears on “Shin Ace o Nerae” series. This song represents Hiromi’s feelings towards tennis “Youth is a brilliant season. Youth is like a free bird chasing a dream. Let’s go! Days of youth get lost and are forgotten without realising. Remember your desire of that day! Youth is a brilliant season. Youth is like a free bird chasing a dream. Let’s go! My heart is burning. I want to dedicate it to that dream. I want it to run with all its strength through those days that never come again. Youth is like a brilliant wind. Youth is like a heart searching for my dream. Let’s go!”. .	This song appears on “Shin Ace o Nerae” series. It describes how Hiromi feels towards Tohdoh when she has to renounce to him for tennis’ sake; and also, how she makes her best to accept Jin’s decision. “There was nobody at the court. Wind blew at the court. There I cried thinking about you. Whenever I find an obstacle, I think about my dream. Goodbye tears! Youth is marvellous. Tomorrow is looking for me! This sort of heavy racket is my friend. A racket that couples the hearts of my youth. You find a true love in a kind glance. Goodbye tears! There is a special dream in my heart. This is the melody that introduces “Ace o Nerae!2”. It is a kind of happy song, full of life, that transmits the idea of victory and self-satisfaction. It can be listened to in the scene where Hiromi wins the silver medal at her first US Championship, when Katsura admires Hiromi’s progress, when Takayuki expresses his feelings to Hiromi. “Opening as widely as I can the door of my heart, I am going to begin. Though I could zigzag, I want to start walking. Youth is a season when you can meet yourself. Never give up your dreams! The answer is on the wind. This dream has no end. There is a step I have just learnt, and I continue walking carefully. My friend has changed sadness into smiles. My heart has begun to learn the sense of affection. Do not cry! You are so young! You will overcome your sadness! This dream has no end. If you ever face an obstacle, you can try again smiling. My dream has no end, Some day I will achieve it.	One of the most beautiful melodies of the CD. It is the ending song of “Ace o Nerae: Final Stage!”. Lyrics reveal the depth of Hiromi’s feelings towards Jin and how she prays that he protects her from the Buddhist Nirvana for as long as she lives. “While I climb the slope, I look back, but there is nobody. I remember those days when I lived without knowing about difficulties. Do you know what does it mean to lose something you care for? You, who are not here anymore, can you hear me? I promise you that I will live forever with dignity but, please, do never stop watching over me! The window where I cry, has welcomed the spring. I have seen new leaves over the naked branches. Face the wind, they tell me! If I ever give up, please scold me! It doesn’t matter how hard is my path, I am going to walk it through with all my strengths, as I did in the past! INSTRUMENTAL MELODIES

Track nº8: Hiromi’s tomorrow
It transmits recovery and hope and is played on those scenes when all characters are trying to overcome Jin’s death. It is especially meaningful when it accompanies the scene when Katsura gives Hiromi Jin’s first racket.

Track nº9: Reika and Goemon.
It transmits soothing and calm feelings. It is played at kind breaks, interchanges of experiences, scenes where Hiromi begins to overcome her depression and reacts as any other normal teenager.

Track nº10: Sadness at the court.
Dreaming melody. Hiromi, Reika, Ranko, Takayuki... trying to understand the meaning of Jin’s death and trying to live under his teachings despite his absence.

Track nº11: Put up with your training!
This melody is composed by four brief pieces that emphasise moments of great tension at tennis matches and trainings.

Track nº12: The difficulty that is coming.
It transmits sadness, pain, and confusion. This melody is played at Jin’s wake. It is marvellous how such a simple song is able to communicate so intense sense of loss.

Track nº13: Maki and Goemon.
Composed by three melodies that are characterised by dynamic rhythms, sound mixes and sense of action.

Track nº14: Heart of love.
It is composed by two melodies:
A dreaming and romantic melody that evokes lovers’ need of being together. It is played when Hiromi misses Jin, and after when she thinks about Takayuki in the US.
Instrumental variation of the vocal song “Please, do never stop watching over me!”.

Track nº15: An encounter.
Two melodies for two different tennis styles: first describes Ranko’s psychological strength, second Reika’s elegance.

Track nº16: Overcoming sadness.
Two melodies in the same track, both from “Ace o Nerae: Final Stage”. They are full of humour and hope.
